The funds were used to provide 6,000 backpacks of food for local students, support the Crisis Aid International's US Refuge Home, youth sports program in St. Louis, and provide clean water, food, medicine, and cataract surgeries for people in need, globally.

Operation Food Search 2017

For the past five years, Big League Impact St. Louis has sponsored backpacks full of food for students to take home on the weekends. Unfortunately, many children rely on free breakfast and lunch programs in order to eat during the week—and many go hungry on weekends. In 2017, BLI was able to provide 6,500 backpacks for Operation Food Search to distribute.
